Section 01

About Southern Showcase Sports

Southern Showcase Sports is a youth baseball and fastpitch softball organization built to provide fair competition, clear rules, and a better experience for players, families, coaches, and event directors. Our goal is to create an organized and scalable sports platform where athletes can develop, compete, and enjoy the game in a professional environment.

Our Mission

Southern Showcase Sports exists to raise the standard for youth travel sports by putting player development, consistency, sportsmanship, and quality event management first. We believe youth sports should be competitive, well-run, and built around the athletes and families who make the game possible.

Section 03

Our Structure

Southern Showcase Sports is organized in a franchise-style format that allows for growth in local, regional, and future expansion markets.

Section 04

Membership

Teams, coaches, players, and event staff may participate in Southern Showcase Sports by registering through the proper approval process. All members are expected to follow organization rules, respect staff and officials, and represent the brand with professionalism.

Section 05

Age Eligibility

Southern Showcase Sports uses an August 31 age cutoff for division placement. A team's age group is determined by the oldest rostered player as of August 31 before the season begins. Once placed in a division, the team remains in that division for the full season unless the Sanction Office approves a change.

Section 06

Rosters and Registration

All teams must submit an official roster before participating in sanctioned events. Rosters must be accurate and complete. Players may only compete on approved rosters unless a specific guest-player policy allows otherwise.

Section 07

Coaches and Parents

Coaches are responsible for the behavior of their teams, bench staff, and spectators. Parents and fans are expected to support all players, officials, and teams with respect. Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in removal from the event or further discipline.

Section 08

Equipment

All equipment must be safe, legal, and appropriate for the division and sport. Bats, helmets, catcher's gear, and protective equipment must meet the standards approved by Southern Showcase Sports. Unsafe or altered equipment may not be used.

Section 09

Baseball Rules

All baseball games played under Southern Showcase Sports will follow the official Southern Showcase Sports Baseball Playing Rules. These rules cover gameplay, substitutions, pitching, batting order, base running, protests, and other baseball-specific matters. Event directors may add administrative details such as time limits, weather procedures, and bracket format, but they may not change the core baseball rules.

Section 10

Fastpitch Softball Rules

All fastpitch softball games played under Southern Showcase Sports will follow the official Southern Showcase Sports Fastpitch Softball Playing Rules. These rules cover gameplay, pitching, substitutions, courtesy runners, batting order, base running, protests, and other fastpitch-specific matters. Event directors may add administrative details such as time limits, weather procedures, and bracket format, but they may not change the core fastpitch rules.

Section 11

Game Administration

Event directors may publish schedules, field assignments, tie-breakers, and event-specific details before competition begins. All participants are expected to review the event rules before play. If there is a conflict between the event packet and the official sport rules, the official sport rules will control.

Section 12

Protests and Appeals

Protests must be made according to the process published for each event. Eligibility disputes and discipline matters may be reviewed by the Sanction Office. Video Replay challenges are available at all Southern Showcase Sports events — a team may use the Video Replay system to challenge certain reviewable plays. Section 13

Discipline and Conduct

Southern Showcase Sports expects all participants to act with integrity and sportsmanship. The organization may issue warnings, suspensions, forfeitures, or membership restrictions for serious or repeated violations. The Sanction Office may act to protect the safety, fairness, and reputation of the organization.

Section 14

Growth and Expansion

Southern Showcase Sports is designed to grow through local and regional expansion. Approved affiliates may operate under the Southern Showcase Sports brand with written permission and must follow all organization standards. The goal is to build a strong and trusted youth sports network over time.

Section 15

Insurance and Safety

Southern Showcase Sports may require insurance coverage, waivers, background checks, and other safety documents for participation. Safety is a top priority at all events. Event directors are responsible for maintaining a safe and organized environment for players and families.

Section 16

Brand Standards

Only approved Southern Showcase Sports names, logos, and materials may be used publicly. Affiliates may not represent themselves as a separate sanction. All marketing and public communication should reflect the Southern Showcase Sports mission and identity.
